Here’s how to make a quick and easy Ric-Rac Flower:
Supplies:
Tacky Glue
Chipboard Circle (any size)
A length of Ric-Rac (the wider the better and you will trim the excess)
A coordinating button, jewel etc. for the center
Step 1: (Optional) I inked the outside edges of the Ric-Rac to give the flower some depth. I also inked the edges of the chipboard so that the white portion isn’t as noticeable.
Step 2: Start by placing a generous amount of Tacky Glue around a portion of the outside edge of the chipboard. You will glue as you go.
Step 3: Run the Ric-Rac around the outside of the chipboard taking care to close the gaps in the underside of the Ric-Rac. This will make the Ric-Rac curl up like a petal.
Step 4: Continue to work towards the center until you have several rows of Ric-Rac petals.
Step 5: Trim the end of the Ric-Rac at the desired amount of petals.
Step 6: Add a button or jewel for the center of the flower and allow to dry. This is a quick and easy project that takes only a few minutes to create!
