Challenge! And a prize too!!

I’d like to propose a challenge!  Yes, I would.  Up for grabs is a prize pack from Scrapbooker’s Club House.  All you have to do is create a layout about the little things that make you unique/your quirks.  It could be one thing like how you hate it when the cupboard doors are left open or how you eat the same meal every Sunday night.  It’s up to you.  Like us to your blog  in the Comments section below to show us your entry.

I really like the idea of mini books.  You can usually get a lot done in a relatively short amount of time.  While browsing the internet, I found a great freebie class from Shimelle.  She suggests creating an “I Have to Confess…” mini album.  This is really simple and is meant to be light hearted (though you can make it as serious as you want).  See the full details here for more information.

As you can see, you could easily get this album done in a day as the format is quite simple, no fuss.  For all of you who complete your “confessions”, please link us to your blog to show it off!  Scrapbooker’s Club House will be giving a prize pack to a winner, randomly drawn from all the entries.

I like this layout.  The photo is kind of weird and off center but I like that is not perfect.  For this week’s challenge, take a less than perfect photo and create a layout with it.  It’s amazing what you can do with a little thought and imagination.  Be sure to link us to your blog so we can come see what you have done!

Club House Challenge!

This week’s challenge is of a different sort.  Are you ready?  A lot of people I know, including myself, have pretty messy craft/scrapbooking spaces.  We all talk about how we’d love to have an area that is clutter free but don’t know where to start.  Today I challenge you to start the process by picking out one area of your space and working on getting that small spot ship shape.  Perhaps it is the area where you store your ribbon, or various paints.  Maybe it is your paper stash that needs straightening up.  Whatever it is, tackle one small space.  Not the whole room.  That will lead to feeling overwhelmed and result in giving up in frustration.  Just baby steps.  One small section.  That’s it.

After all, we all need to start somewhere.  :0)
